I'm taking a break

I'm taking a break, from mwbf for awhile.  I end up putting a lot of work into it, and while there has been interest, its not enough interest to keep me interested at this time.  ;).   There are so many possible passions in life.  If you want to loosely follow me,  I'm going to try and stay current at  dreamtimedancer     where I don't care if anybody cares.  Its for me.  more of a web blog anything.
I might be back here in  full steam some time later, but for now,  good-day.

What chall doin this extended weekend?  My family has been actively not making plans to avoid an over-crowded schedule.  So we will go as the wind roams today, tonight,  mini-golf, some fireworks somewhere.  Whatever your up to, have a great weekend perhaps with some family and friends.

I rode like this to the gas station today.  Yes my seat is tilted sightly skyward.

By now you might have realized that I venture outside of the bicycle world for my blog material.  I love to share the interesting things I discover.  Spread the joy, ya know what I'm saying?   I found the art for this post and the previous from;- but does it float.  Check out the site its full of amazing art.  I will likely post more.

Video I made. Preach the word

If you've never seen the originals,  seek them out.  They are off the wall.  So inspired was I, that I decided to make a remix sort of video using this man as the subject.  He is clearly on another level.  Anyways, I made this video a couple years ago for fun.  I spent a lot a time with it, but only going in a certain direction.  I want to make some more, higher level such material.  What do you think?  Should I make more?  What kind of stuff would you like to see?
watch the whole thing its only 51 sec.  some of the timing actions I had some fun with.  Cheers.

dance like nobody is watching.

This is a dance video inspired by Tim Ferris's Four Hour Work Week Blog.
I highly recommend seeking out the info he has to offer.

God I love this.
P.S.  Just ignore any possible feeling you may have to think this cheesy and Enjoy Fully.  :)

Yak

Hi, I came across an amazing collection of pictures from the turn of the century. I can't post a single one of them, because they are on someone's flicker site.  Go here!

In the mean time,  here is a picture of a yak.

alex honnold, climbs without ropes.

Ropeless, you know like brakeless, in a more vertical, possibility of certain death kinda way. I'm really hesitant about climbing without ropes. You know, if its over like twelve feet forget about it. This guy is souring over 750 ft on crack smaller that the ones in your driveway.   Check out the crux.

Happy Father's Day!

amazing wooden bicycle

Splinter

This bike is not messing around. Not your typical woodshop project. Not a single bolt or screw has been used, nothing metal, plastic or rubber."ore than 1,000 man hours and a considerable amount of skill and ingenuity later, the SplinterBike was ready to ride.

"The axles are made of the hardwood ekki; the cogs, wheels and frame are birch ply; and oily ironwood was used in place of metal bearings where moving parts met. The pedals and handlebars were made from an old broom handle salvaged from Michael's shed.

The trickiest part was the drivetrain – how do you make a wooden chain?

Well, by cunningly replacing it with a huge 128-tooth cog that links the chainring and the gear on the rear wheel. In fact there are six cogs, as the drivetrain is replicated on both sides of the frame to add strength."
